The kindergarten teachers wanted to do a field trip this for their students, but since we live too far away from anything to allow enough time, we had them come to our house!
They brought about 150 pumpkins the day before...
3 classes totaling about 75 kids in the morning & afternoon = 150 kids! They rotated between story time and games and then each kid got to pick their own pumpkin to lug back to the school. We had so much fun - I hope we get to do it every year!

They got so much candy & were so tired that the ward trunk or treat was all we did this year. They didn't complain much even when their friends started ringing the doorbell afterwards for the traditional neighborhood trick or treating.
